Description

Supercut is the acclaimed streaming app that provides the best way to experience Netflix and Prime Video on Vision Pro.

"Supercut is a proper visionOS app that delivers a first-class experience for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video subscribers on Apple Vision Pro." — 9to5Mac

"The new app makes for a better viewing experience in Netflix and adds Amazon Prime Video as well." — The Verge

"Supercut Is The Netflix Apple Vision Pro App That Netflix Won’t Make. [It] has everything you’d ever need including subtitle support, playback speed options, and more." — RedmondPie

"If you want your Netflix shows and movies to sound great, this is the app you need." — BGR

Supercut has been designed from the ground up to make these streaming platforms excel on Vision Pro, and takes a step beyond just a shortcut to the web experiences from your home screen. You can browse your favorite movies and TV shows on a beautiful glassy window, and videos play with the correct aspect ratio as expected with no ugly black bars. It also includes improvements simply not possible on the web versions of these platforms, like the enabling of Dolby Atmos and multichannel audio on Netflix, native and intuitive playback controls, shortcuts to important tabs to make browsing even easier, a native search and profile switching experience, and so much more.

Most importantly, Supercut takes advantage of the unique opportunities Vision Pro offers with the built-in Cinema environment. This mode will block out your surroundings and put your content front and center, even letting you choose your positioning in the environment. This truly is the ultimate way to experience content from Netflix and Prime Video on this platform.

Key Features:
• Beautiful Interface: Browse your favorite movies and TV shows on a stunning glassy window, switch profiles effortlessly, use shortcuts to important tabs for easy browsing, and search with just your voice.
• Native Controls: Experience intuitive playback controls, a window that will dim your surroundings to pull you into the content, and videos that resize to the correct aspect ratio—no more ugly black bars.
• Enhanced Audio: Enjoy Dolby Atmos and multichannel audio on Netflix for a richer sound experience.
• Cinema Environment: Block out your surroundings and immerse yourself in your content. Choose your positioning in the environment for the ultimate viewing experience.

I'm always working on Supercut and want to keep improving the app. Let me know if you have any ideas, thoughts, issues, or if you just wanna discuss your favorite TV show or movie by sending an email to support@supercut.vision!

Great for Netflix

Everything seems to work really well, except when you glance to the lower right hand corner to enlarge the window, it is really hard to engage because of the toolbar at the bottom of the screen. Fix that, and this is easily five stars.

Works well for Netflix, Prime Video and Paramount

I'm using Supercut on my Vidion Pro for some time now and the picture quality and sound quality is really great. Netflix and Prime Video work like as I would expect from their own native apps and for paramount it just a few clicks on a in-app browser to log in and add the experience of streams as good as a native app. The floating window itself features all the same as AppleTV's or Disney's native app UI. The window is in the exact ratio of the stream, you can make it super big (way more than the Disney app alllows) and you can add the native Vidoen Pro environments to wtach your favorite SiFi saga from the moon.... impressive and well worth the money. The only hickup so far was taking of the Vision Pro while watching and expereincing a freeze of the app after retuning. This happened only once, though.

Want to love it

This is a great implementation of a Netflix viewer, but I lose the controls and I can’t pause or see remaining time. Also, if you remove the AVP for a bit and come back to resume, you have to exit, look for your content and hit play again. When doing that it also randomly takes you to a previous stop point, which without controls, is impossible to fast forward. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update.
