Wonderful app with one suggestion

The new UI for Play mode:

- It feels more distracting that the previous way of doing things (Play mode had been essentially the same as “Normal” but with the ability to much more freely scale and position and adjust things without the “normal” restrictions). The new “left hand palette” gets in the way of that. Make the left hand palette a preference setting, so it could be turned off, rather than the “only” option?

- Also, now with the Palette in Play mode, Favorites don’t show up in the Palette. This should be fixed.

Pure enjoyment

This is one of those apps that truly is and does what it says for visionOS. Super simple and straightforward and by far the largest catalog of 3-D images you can find in one app. Super fun to have objects sitting around your house and honestly sometimes I forget if they are there or not.

Overly restrictive content policy

Even though there’s a anime girl in the examples, the AI art generators, incapable of generating one.

The author unfortunately responded back to me and judging by the word “frustrating” I can tell, having dealt with many AI generators at this point, that they used an AI to generate their response to me. What a lame and sorry excuse for customer service.

Anyway, they claim that they’re being “overly cautious”, to which I say they’re being overly fascist!
I take great issue with the automation of morality and AI has accelerated that. Anybody who stands on the side of restricting creativity because they’re afraid of what’s going on inside, people’s minds definitely deserves a one star.

Decisions have consequences. Honest reviews happen:
The overly restrictive content policy prevents this app from being useful to anyone who has any actual vision they are trying to create. This app is completely worthless and not worth your time, effort, and especially not your money.

Hi there — I understand your frustration & I am sorry that you are unable to create what you intended.

I’m doing my best to balance creative freedom for all users with proper protections for new creative tools like AI. Out of an abundance of caution on this new platform, I’ve put a content policy in place which limits the creation of some content that may not be appropriate for all users. We are evaluating what people want to create and are open to all. Your feedback is appreciated and needed here.

Update 1: I have put a significant amount of care and craft into this app. I stand for freedom of creation, it’s why I created this app. For many months we had an unrestricted creation tool on the beautiful things web platform. When expanding this functionality to the native visionOS app, additional content moderation was required to make the is a safe space for all. Unfortunately, there are constraints needed. I hope this is understandable. Again, we’re evaluating the use of this technology and how to make it a better experience for you and others. Thanks for the time writing a response, I hope you reconsider in the future.
