IMPORTANT:
For customers who use LUTs extensively, a special LUT cleanup option has been added to Cleanup in Help & Settings to remove old duplicated LUT storage.
This option will improve performance and decrease the size of the project database over time.
(Note that the cleanup may temporarily reduce performance while the system eliminates wasted space in the project database.)

Wherever you are on your filmmaking journey, this multitrack video editor meets you there. Its features are rarely found in an iPad app, and everything’s accessible through an intuitive touch interface.
Incredible
I am totally amazed by the power of this app. I’ve been using it for the past 7 months and I am beyond amazed at how smooth it runs, never crashes and is 70% of a full FCPX experience. Editing is smooth, CC options are great and easy to use and I couldn’t be happier with it. I bought the 11” iPad just for this app and was scared I might be disappointed, but it was well worth it. I am eager to see what the developers will do in the future and what new features will be added.
What I would like to see:
Importing directly from SD cards into Luma Fusion (some videos won’t import on iOS, but they should work inside the app)
Included stabilizer for videos.
More in depth audio control, including audio syncing.
Better keyframe implementation.
More control for green/blue screen keying.
Overall, I can’t complain about a thing, it is the best 20$ I’ve spent since finding an Omega Seamaster at a garage sale for the same 20$.

Paid app which constantly closes while editing
I can’t describe how frustrating it is to be in the middle of the editing and the app is closing right when you need to undo a stupid mistake you did, and then when you reopen the app it loads the project saved with the mistakes you wanted to undo. This happened several times. Not mentioning the fact that some features stop functioning and you need to restart the app in order to fix it. This never happened to me on any free app such as Capcut or others. I decided to buy LumaFusion because I recently purchased an iPad too, and I’ve heard this is “the best editing app for iPad”, but it is a total mess. It also wants you to pay extra for speed ramping (adjusting the speed of a video with keyframes - yes, you can’t do that without paying extra while other free apps can), and other features.
