Terrible privacy, it records everything you do.
This app is using a third party service to keep a detailed log of EVERYTHING you do on Documents and sends it to their team. There is no option to disable logging or disable background sharing of your actions. All other mature apps have an option to Disable the improvement program where users can choose whether or not to share details about the app usage.
Documents is storing in clear text even your FTP IP and user name and sends it to them. Just create an FTP link, save it to favorites then go to the menu and use the Feedback link. You will see an email window opening up with a zip log attached. Open that file and see all your history, including FTP usernames logins in plain text. All that is going to them to “improve the app”.
Browser doc tranfer
First off I love the night mode, reading mode and the swift design of the app.
Secondly, please fix the browser doc transfer. I can no longer transfer photos from my iphone to my pc in a reasonable amount of time. When I first discovered the feature I was very happy with it, as it saved me time and preserved the timeline of the photo. But now I have to make transfers to itunes and use that. It takes additional time, it’s a drag, but it’s faster now than your online doc transfer. It doesn’t work in Firefox, Chrome, microsoft edge, avast browser, opera, everything I tried
