RealityGuard brings tower-defence battles into your world, letting you stick your base and an enemy-spawning portal anywhere around you – the floor, a dining table, your front lawn. Can you stop incoming monsters before they demolish your HQ?

What we love: Because RealityGuard scans your surroundings before each game, you can use real-world items to form makeshift ramps, mazes and other paths for enemy troops to traverse. Holding the high ground is a unique advantage since crossbow- and thunder-launching towers do more damage when they’re above foes.

Don’t miss: Fighting off attackers with simple gestures. As your towers automatically blast away, point a finger to zap monsters with an energy bolt or sweep both hands to hurl a demon-roasting fireball.

Quick tip: Upgrading towers may seem unnecessary in early waves, but it’ll save your skin as your opponents outnumber you. An enhanced Tox Mist tower spreads deadly fumes over a wider area, for instance, while an augmented Time Swift tower makes nearby allies fire 60 per cent faster.
